Hello! I'm Martina
I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Division of Decision and Control Systems at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, working with Prof. Angela Fontan and Prof. Karl Henrik Johansson. I am affiliated with the Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems and Software Program (WASP). I obtained my Ph.D. in Pure and Applied Mathematics at the Politecnico di Torino, Italy, in September 2025. My thesis is entitled “Network effects and behavioral feedback in epidemic models” and my work was carried out at the Department of Mathematical Sciences, under the supervision of Prof. Fabio Fagnani and Prof. Giacomo Como.

I received both my B.Sc. (2018) and M.Sc. (2021) in Mathematical Engineering from Politecnico di Torino. In 2023, I spent a semester as a Visiting Student at Cornell University, Ithaca (NY, USA), under the supervision of Prof. Francesca Parise. In 2024-2025, I also worked as a Research Assistant at the National Research Council (CNR), Institute of Electronics, Information Engineering and Telecommunications (IEIIT), Torino, with Prof. Chiara Ravazzi and Prof. Fabrizio Dabbene.

My research interests include analysis and control of network systems, with application to epidemics and complex social networks.
